Jackie’s work ranges from landscape painting to still life, figurative to semi-abstract, always with oils as the dominant medium. She maintains that the subject must offer an emotional connection - something that insists on being enhanced and shared with others. Her newest works, for example, celebrate the glory of English gardens. Jackie has had work accepted into many open competitions and has exhibited widely in Cheshire, Staffordshire and Derbyshire. As a member of the Staffordshire Society of Artists and the Cheshire Artists Network, her paintings can be seen regularly in both societies’ exhibitions.
