David is a Staffordshire-based artist. He has worked in various studios as a Graphic Designer and has exhibited widely around the country.
His paintings are all about capturing the light, atmosphere, and essence of the subject. He has a fast and spontaneous approach to his paintings, producing work in an expressive and impressionistic style. Working in oils and watercolour, his working process is mainly "Plein Air". Being a full-time artist gives him time to diversify and experiment with light and nature. David is also a member of the Wirral Society of Arts. He has been painting professionally since 2003.
In 2025, he attended a group of international artists in Stara Zagora, Bulgaria, for a week as part of the 9th Symposium of Art. He has featured in many publications, including The Artist and Illustrators magazine in June 2023. His studio is based in Stone, Staffordshire.
